Hillwalking and photography: - I do most of my walking in the Lake District and Yorkshire Dales, although I do enjoy walks in most areas. I completed my last Wainwright - Kirk Fell in the company of my grandson Jack on the 17th of December 2006.

Since then I undertook another challenge along with my good friend Gerry Ball, to walk as many peaks in the Yorkshire Dales as we could find. To date we have climbed 114 and still keep adding the odd one to our list!

Photography: - Camera kit: - Originally Nikon FM2 but now using Canon EOS5d with 24-105mm lense.

Caravanning: - My wife and I love to head off with our caravan at every available opportunity, some of our favourite sites are in the Yorkshire Dales and the Lake District - Check out Caravan Capers.
